 8 Day rally    6 - 13 October 2012

Start on October 6th from Dakhla (south of Morocco, daily flights with Royal Air Maroc). For those who want to drive there, count on  2 days from Tangiers (highway to Agadir).

Following the same concept and categories as the 2 week rally from Paris, the 8 day rally will be divided into 8 stages to Dakar. Crossing the nicest places of the Mauritanian desert passing the Senegal river, as the border between those two countries and Finish at the 'Lac Rose' in Dakar.

Transportation of the vehicles to and from the rally will be arranged by Heroes Legend.

Some dune training before 'Le Dakar'?

Heroes Legend is the perfect way to learn about rally raid and to discover or rediscover the authenticity of Africa.

The 8 day rally is ideally positioned in the calendar for those who would like to train in the Mauritanian dunes before going to 'Le Dakar' in Argentina. Special express bikes transport back from Dakar at the end of the rally. latest in Europe Oct 20th.

JAAP VAN DER KOOY entered Heroes Legend 2012 !

After several Dakar, Jaap has

decided to go back to Africa with Heroes Legend 2012. Together with his friends, Thomas de Bois and Evert Kroon, it should be a nice 'battle' to keep the leading position in the Dutch bikers group....

All the bikes are ready to go. There are still a some things to do on the buggy, but they will be on the start line in September.

HL invited by the government of Mauritania !

Heroes Legend was personally invited by the government of Mauritania to attempt a tourist promotion event. Several European media and main travel agencies were there to cover the event, Heroes Legend was represented by Anne Marie Gerandi.

The 4 day trip took us to  Ouadane and Chinguetti during the Festival of the Old Cities.

Thanks to the logistic and technical support of the French army, the country is very stable and we are again able to hope for a stage  Atar-Chinguetti-Ouadane which should sound familiar to the Dakar rally fans.
